Chemguard First Class is a non-corrosive, non-toxic, biodegradable Class A foam concentrate. When mixed with water in the correct proportion, it changes the properties of water. It reduces the surface tension of the water, and produces foam, which allows the water to cling to vertical or horizontal surfaces without run off. This allows the water to absorb more heat and provides greater penetration into Class A fuels
Fully Qualified by the USDA Forest Service as a Class "A" foam concentrate under USDA Forest Service Specification #5100-307

Thermo-Foam™ is a non-corrosive, non-toxic, biodegradable Class “A” foam concentrate. It is fully qualified under the U.S.D.A. Forest Service Specification # 5100-307 for fixed wing water scooper, helicopter fixed tank and bucket, and engine applications. It is U.L. listed as a Wetting Agent and reduces water consumption by 3 to 5 times. It can be used with either fresh or salt water. It is suitable for both non-air-aspirating or aspirating nozzles, high expansion foam generators, helicopter Bambi buckets, and Compressed Air Foam Systems. It can be used on rubber tire, coal, paper, wild land vegetation, and all other types of Class “A” fuels. It does not contain reportable components under SARA Title 111/Section 313.F/40, CFR-372, or CERCLA. It has a pale amber appearance, has a specific gravity of 1.010, a pH of 7.5, a surface tension at 1.0% solution of 26.99 Dynes/cm, a viscosity of 20 cps, and weighs 45 pounds per five gallon container.

Phos-Chek Class A foam was introduced over 20 years ago and has been widely used by government agencies around the world who are responsible for municipal, wildland, and industrial fire management. Phos-Chek WD 881 and WD 881C Class A foam concentrates continue to be the product of choice based on unparalleled superior performance.

Phos-Chek WD 881 has also been tested and is a UL Listed Wetting Agent passing the UL test requirements at a very low use rate of 0.25%. WD 881 is significantly more concentrated than many other products currently available and can be used at much lower rates.

Thermo-Gel 5 Gallon Container. Thermo-Gel is highly effective in fighting active fires, wild land fires, prescribed burns, urban interface fires, aviation applications, and in the protection of all types of structures from homes to commercial and industrial investments. Thermo-Gel is a gel concentrate which when added to water transforms it into a fire preventing and heat absorbing Class A fire retardant gel.
